32nd Annual Higher Education Meeting - September 11 through September 14

MAXIMUS is holding its 32nd Annual Meeting at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel & Covention Center in Nashville, TN. University experts and MAXIMUS staff will present sessions focused on: Uniform Guidance, Internal Controls, Effort Reporting, F&A and Costing, Space Surveys, Negotiations, Service Centers, CRIS hands-on labs and the latest industry regulation updates for your region. Annual Meeting attendees will receive 9 CPE credits for attending all sessions. The cost of early bird registration is $950/participant.

F&A Long Form Training Workshop - September 10 through September 12

This introductory workshop provides an overview of the requirements under 2 CFR, Part 200 for preparing the Long Form F&A cost rate proposal. The workshop, which will be held at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel & Convention Center in Nashville, TN, will give cost accountants, cost analysis managers, administrators for research and sponsored projects, controllers, budget directors, and internal and external auditors a working knowledge and better understanding of the F&A rate development process. Interactive exercises and reference to a simplified rate proposal offer hands-on practice to participants. This course incorporates the most up-to-date information on the OMB "Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards" and discusses the impact of these vital changes. The newly published "CAS Best Practices Manual for Reviewing Institutions of Higher Education Long-Form Facilities & Administrative Cost Rate Proposal" is also incorporated into discussions throughout the workshop. F&A Long Form Workshop attendees will receive 14 CPE credits for attending all sessions The cost of registration is $900/participant, which will be open in late May 2019.

Effort Reporting Forum (clients only) - September 11 through September 12

This Forum will provide clients with a four hour Effort Reporting "think-tank" facilitated by Effort subject matter experts. In addition there will be special sessions focusing on audit compliance for Effort Reporting and Alternative Methods to Effort Reporting. Effort Track attendees will receive 7 CPE credits for attending all sessions. The cost of the registration is $700. Workshop attendees have the option to register for Friday and Saturday of sessions of the Annual Meeting at an additional cost via the registration page.
